About the App

AutoLog helps you manage your vehicle maintenance with ease. Track fuel logs, maintenance records, expenses, and keep detailed statistics – all privately on your device.

How to Use

1. Adding Vehicles

  • Tap "Add Vehicle" to create a new vehicle entry.
  • Enter vehicle details such as make, model, year, and mileage.
  • Customize settings for each vehicle.

2. Logging Activities

  • Fuel Logs: Record fuel fill-ups with date, mileage, gallons/liters, cost, and location.
  • Maintenance Logs: Track services like oil changes, tire rotations, with details and costs.
  • Other Cost Logs: Log other expenses such as repairs, tolls, or parking.

3. Viewing Statistics

Access the Statistics to view fuel efficiency, total costs, maintenance schedules, and more.

4. Backup & Export

  • Settings → Backup & Restore → Backup to create a JSON file.
  • Export your logs as PDF reports or CSV spreadsheets.
  • Share backup files via AirDrop, email, or cloud storage.

How to use:

  1. Export your logs: AutoLog app → Settings → Backup & Restore → Backup.
  2. Visit the web viewer link above in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).
  3. Click "Open JSON File" and select your backup file.
  4. Browse your entire logs, stats, and vehicles on a large screen.

Q: Is my data safe?
A: Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device only. We don't collect, sync, or transmit any personal information. Your logs are 100% private.

Q: Do I need to create an account?
A: No. AutoLog works completely offline without any account or login required.

Q: What happens to my data if I delete the app?
A: All data will be permanently deleted. We strongly recommend creating a backup (Settings → Backup & Restore → Backup) before uninstalling.

Q: How do I transfer my logs to a new device?
A: Create a backup on your old device, transfer the JSON file to your new device (via AirDrop, email, or cloud storage), then restore it in the app (Settings → Backup & Restore → Restore).

Q: Can I use the app without an internet connection?
A: Yes! All your saved logs are available offline. Internet is only needed when exporting or using web viewer.

Q: How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
A: Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → AutoLog → Cancel Subscription.
